Be still, my heart!
Stopped by Raissa Bump's studio in the Sunset recently to pick up a few sample pieces. Can we talk about this??? They're all so distinctive - you'd never guess they're all handcrafted by one designer. Raissa is a trained metalsmith as well as knitwear designer. She specializes in exceptionally hand-crafted art jewelry and has a passionate global fan base.

These pieces are deceptively simple. These are actually made of bimetal - which is a sheet of 14k gold fused on top of a sheet of sterling silver. You can tell the quality as soon as you feel the weight and strength of these pieces.

The knitting? Yah, Raissa made that. The chain? Yep - Raissa made that, too! She uses the highest quality materials in her process. The darker piece is cotton and the brighter blue is actually silk!
This one dropped some jaws at a recent fashion event. These are vintage glass beads. They are extra sparkly because the beads have a silver coating inside. Raissa hand twists sterling silver wire to create a braided effect.
This one is fun to play with - these are copper pieces with enamel.
